The 180 enables credit union members gain a sense of pride and self-confidence as they re-build their credit and improve their personal finances while paying back a low-interest-rate automobile loan.
At Tricon we know that the best time to minimize default and loan loss is at the time the loan is originated. That is why we begin the process with a personal and confidential face-to-face interview via our state-of-the-art, high-definition Privacy Booth.
The Touch Program
The Touch Program is a financial literacy self-help program that aids individuals who have purchased a vehicle through The 180. This is the final, but continuous step of The 180.
Participants in The 180 were approved for a chance to achieve financial stability. The Touch Program helps them achieve this goal by checking in with them every three months for two years. Relationship Managers offer congratulations, reminders and opportunities for the members to re-evaluate financial goals, adjust their spending budget, and receive further advice for improving their personal finances into the future.
Success is dependent upon the participants' own motivation to change their financial habits. The Touch Program is simply a readily-available resource to provide accountability and necessary guidance.
